Achieving greater environmental sustainability is one of our main sustainability goals.
Consistent with this principle, we are evaluating Group-wide initiatives to reduce our carbon emissions, enhance sustainable energy consumption, and increase our utilization of sustainable materials.
MBE Italy: Partnering with Raja
Since 2021, MBE Italy has partnered with RAJA, a leading brand of high- performance and sustainable packaging materials. MBE and Raja Italia share eco-sustainability values such as reducing the consumption of packaging materials, redesigning them to reduce their environmental impact, and using bio-based materials obtained from renewable natural materials.
Pack & Send: Australian Packaging Covenant Carbon Reduction Institute
As a signatory of the Australian Packaging Covenant (APC), Pack & Send is working towards Australia’s 2025 National Packaging Targets:
- 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging;
- 70% of plastic packaging being recycled or composted;
- 50% of average recycled content included in;
- the phase out of problematic and unnecessary single-use plastic packaging.
Additionally, Pack & Send is also a member of the Carbon Reduction Institute.
